About Melanie R. Jordan, The Expert At Making Money From What You Uniquely Know!
Melanie left Corporate America to practice what she preaches:
achieving a more satisfying and flexible existence with “work
that fits her life, not the other way around”. Today, based on
her business world life lessons, everything she does is only
done on her terms.
A firm believer that the secret to successful self-employment
is to have several streams of flexible income, Melanie uses
all her talents and experience across a diverse field of
self-employed endeavors including heading up
and coaching company.
Melanie has 20+ years experience in marketing from her work
with some of the country’s largest financial services companies
and her own entrepreneurial pursuits, and her clients'. Plus,
she has over eight years of experience in direct sales and
sales training in the fields of real estate, loans and education.
Her exposure to these two fields led to her establishment of
two successful mentoring programs: one for new real estate
agents for a small, independent California real estate brokerage,
and the other for a national, entrepreneurial marketing and
training company in the financial services field.
Melanie is a faculty member for Alex Mandossian's prestigious
Optimization University for her marketing expertise in working
with small businesses and professionals worldwide. Melanie
also is a frequent speaker, trainer and guest for top online
conferences (she did the closing session at the 2009 SPOC
Self-Publisher's Online Conference teleseminars, online talk
shows and podcasts.
Melanie believes believes that "everyone knows something that is
worth something to others", and specializes in helping Corporate
America workers protect their livelihoods, its refugees regain their
financial future, and entrepreneurs and content creators achieve
their maximum possible audience and revenue.
Overall, Melanie's biggest passion is writing about, and coaching others on, a variety of topics related to health and fitness, infopreneuring and marketing. She is the author of Have Your Cheeseburger And Keep Your Health Too! inspired by her heros--Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. John McDougall and The Center For Science In The Public Interest. Another healthy eating book is in the works to be released later in 2009.
All of Melanie's works are published with the in-depth, “tell it like it really is” style, that has attracted fans across North America and in many other countries throughout the world.
Melanie was born and raised in New York City, and has also called Orange County, California, a suburb of Denver, Colorado and Las Vegas home in her life journey.
She has been married to her husband Rich (the world’s best husband), for over 25 years (yes, she was a “baby” bride), and her flexible lifestyle allows her plenty of time for her healthy pursuits of walking, weight lifting, kickboxing and Zumba, as well as travel, concerts and movies.
